Aspen is a place for leaders to lift their sights above the possessions which possess them. To confront their own nature as human beings, to regain control over their own humanity by becoming more self-aware, more self-correcting, and hence more self-fulfilling.
The Aspen Ministers Forum is a nonpartisan initiative made up of former Foreign Ministers from around the world.
They meet regularly to focus on major global issues, whether it’s a fast-moving crisis or along-term international challenge.
The Ministers’ conversations are off the record and deeply informed, drawing on decades of experience in diplomacy, negotiation, and policymaking. AMF meetings often influence the work of leaders and institutions across the globe.
The Forum has expanded its reach with digital tools, such as the “Leadership in Action” series with the Bertelsmann Foundation, to share key insights more widely.
