Aspen is a place for leaders to lift their sights above the possessions which possess them. To confront their own nature as human beings, to regain control over their own humanity by becoming more self-aware, more self-correcting, and hence more self-fulfilling.
Aspen moderators are expert facilitators who guide rich, respectful dialogue—helping participants stretch their thinking and uncover deeper insight through dialogue.
Our seminars are collaborative investigations into the enduring questions of leadership and what makes a good leader, lead by highly-trained moderators.
Under their expert guidance, seminar participants engage in intellectual and personal explorations of what we owe ourselves, our organizations, and our communities as leaders.
Meet Our Moderator Core
Most of our moderators do not work full-time for the Aspen Institute. Instead, they have high-powered everyday jobs, choosing to take time away from their work to moderate our seminars because they believe in the experience.
All of our moderators have been with us for 10+ years and at one time were participants in the seminar themselves.
