Celebrating 75 Years of the Aspen Institute

As the Aspen Institute celebrates its monumental 75th anniversary, the 2025 program emerges as a powerful moment for reflection.

As we mark this moment, we will ask the enduring questions that have guided our community for decades:

  • What does it mean to lead with purpose?
  • How do we navigate complexity while keeping humanity at the center?
  • What are we uniquely positioned to contribute to creating a better world?

The Action Forum has always been more than a conference; it’s a space where the AGLN community gathers to search, challenge, and inspire one another; where we move together from thought to action.

On the Agenda

Reflect in community

Seminar Dialogues

In these reflective, round table dialogues led by Aspen Institute-trained moderators, participants take time to reflect on the big questions of our time through the lens of text, art, music and more in the company of a diverse cohort of leaders.

Get Inspired

Mainstage Talks

Each day, the mainstage will come alive with transformative talks from global leaders who’ve navigated the complexities of challenge and change. Join the conversation with daily livestreams.

Connect & collaborate

Impact Sessions

Exchange wisdom and insights to move from thought to action in Fellow-led conversations on pressing global challenges. These roundtables and working groups bring together diverse voices from across the AGLN to tackle everything from health equity and AI’s future to community building and democratic resilience.

Take Pause

Move & Metabolize

With the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, we will spend intentional time engaging with nature, sound and movement to refresh the body and spirit. Activities include the iconic hike to Maroon Bells, embodied movement practice, yoga, Zumba, swimming, and meditation – all facilitated by leaders across the AGLN community.

Multigenerational Programming

The Action Forum is a unique opportunity for Fellows to share the Aspen magic with their families. The Youth Action Forum and Emerging Leaders Cohort is offered concurrently to the Action Forum and convenes 100 global youth leaders (ages 10-25) to participate in classic, text-based seminar sessions, action-oriented workshops, and intergenerational dialogues all while taking the time to explore the surrounding beauty of Aspen.
