In cybersecurity, nothing is scarier than our everyday IT systems being used to cause real physical harm. From the systems that power our electrical grid to those involved in our drinking water, Americans face a real threat these fundamental systems can be turned against us. The President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) released a report on just this issue, highlighting ways for the country to strengthen its cyber-physical systems. In this session, we delve deeper into these recommendations and talk to leading experts about how the entire nation can be involved in protecting the fundamentals of civilization and life itself.
