The ANDE West Africa Regional Conference, first held in 2017, is a destination event for ANDE members and regional partners, including corporations, investment firms, development finance institutions and venture capitalists, capacity building agencies, foundations, and research institutions. The conference offers tangible opportunities to network, collaborate, and learn with some of West Africa’s foremost leaders, practitioners, and visionaries dedicated to the small and growing business (SGB) sector. As we adjust to a world changed by the Covid-19 pandemic, we are excited to explore the opportunities presented by technology to host the 2021 ANDE West Africa Regional Conference as a virtual event. The conference will also give attention to the ANDE’s updated strategy which prioritize three urgent issues where SGBs can help emerging markets attain Sustainable Development Goals: decent job creation, gender inclusion and environmental action. The two day event, targeted at intermediaries providing support to the SGB sector will feature live webinars focused on solutions to common challenges for SGBs, live panel discussions, interactive breakout sessions, dedicated sessions for our Francophone audience, online networking, and one-on-one engagement. The ANDE West Africa Regional Conference, first held in 2017, is a destination event for ANDE members and regional partners, including corporations, investment firms, development finance institutions and venture capitalists, capacity building agencies, foundations, and research institutions.
